ELUON AuC provides UMTS security features including mutual authentication between subscriber and network and functions to create and control authentication keys for data security.
Authentication is a function to confirm callers’ identity by matching the received information of the calling device with the subscriber information stored in the mobile network database to protect users from usage of fraudulent mobile handsets. AuC generates and manages authentication information and sends the information to the MSC to block illegal accesses from fraudulent subscribers.
ELUON AuC supports CDMA, GSM, and WCDMA networks, including SIGTRAN as well as the legacy TDM SS7 protocols. The AuC also complies with related standards such as IS-41, 3GPP, and UMTS and supports system level redundancy in order to provide seamless mobile services. Additionally, ELUON AuC supports multiple-redundancy of process modules so as to provide high availability in software level. Since 2006, ELUON has provided AuC to domestic mobile operators and has operated and managed the system in a stable manner.
